Help to Buy valuations
Do you have a Help to Buy loan? If so, you’ll need to start paying interest after five years. Repayments are based on your equity loan % and the market value of your home at the time of repayment, which will require a market valuation report from a chartered surveyor.
As Help to Buy valuation specialists, the Nuven team of independent RICS chartered surveyors and registered valuers are here to help. With expert locally based surveyors and reports returned within two working days, we’ll ensure the process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Shared ownership
Shared ownership is a government-backed scheme that allows aspiring homeowners to purchase a share of a property and pay rent on the remaining portion, making homeownership more affordable.
In a shared ownership situation, you’ll need a surveyor to accurately assess the market value of your property. This is crucial if you want to "staircase" (buy a larger share of the property) or sell your share, as the valuation determines how much you can buy or sell for. This valuation should be conducted by an RICS registered valuer - contact the team at Nuven Surveyors to find out more.
